About Us

Tsad Kadima (A Step Forward) is an award-winning Israeli not-for-profit organization founded in 1987 by parents of children with Cerebral Palsy and professionals who embarked on a life-changing journey to bring the Conductive Education approach (Petõ) to Israel.

Tsad Kadima is the only organization in Israel that implements and trains the unique Conductive Educational approach, educating children and adults with complex physical disabilities to have faith in themselves and their ability to learn, develop and become autonomous human beings, leading active, meaningful lives in the community, and with the freedom to make their own decisions regarding their lives.

Vision

Tsad Kadima’s vision is to be a leading professional organization in Israel – operating according to the principles of Conductive Education - the Petõ approach - offering, in partnership with families, a continuum of educational-rehabilitative services for people with complex disabilities throughout their lives, from early childhood through old age.

Tsad Kadima’s expertise is in Conductive Education – an educational-rehabilitative approach recognized for its quality in Israel and internationally - therefore it trains conductors (teachers who specialize in the approach), and serves as a center of knowledge, research and development in the field.

Values

Tsad Kadima believes in key values ​​that constitute the cornerstones of its activities: partnership with the family alongside active involvement of its clients/participants, creating optimal environments for learning and development, promoting integration into the community, upholding a positive attitude, a commitment to quality and excellence, a commitment to being relevant, updated and constantly open to renewal, to human dignity, transparency, and morality.
