Ceramics & Arts – Ness Ziona

A hands-on creative process that builds confidence, expression, and participation in art creation
The Ceramics program in Ness Ziona is a creative initiative that engages participants with complex physical disabilities in a structured, hands-on ceramic art process. Operated within a supportive day-center environment, the program offers participants meaningful, skill-based activity that combines artistic expression, technical learning, and personal development.
Participants meet weekly to take part in all stages of ceramic creation, from preparing clay and learning foundational techniques to shaping, glazing, firing, and presenting finished pieces. Sessions are led by a professional artist who provides both technical instruction and individualized guidance. The program is fully adapted to each participant’s abilities, ensuring that everyone can actively engage, express themselves, and contribute to the creative process.
